This painting is highly inspired from a line from Emily Bronte “He’s more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” The merging of florals and meaningful images made this work one of my favorites, it also reminds me of my grandparents, though opposites of each other, their lives have meshed beautifully and in great harmony.
