This is a painting inspired by my late cat Harper and his afterlife adventures. In the forest he finds himself being cared for by a kind gnome and his friendly ghost company is by the pond eager to learn how to read. In this painting I wanted to create a world where there’s harmony even when everyone’s different. This is a world where there’s just kindness and acceptance and no one feels out of place.
